An Xzibit and Rockwilder album would be fire

So I’m listening to an Xzibit track called What you Can’t See produced by Rockwilder. I guess they left it off Xzibit’s Weapons of Mass destruction even though it’s one of the tightest Xzibit tracks I’ve heard in the last 2 years. Anyways, I’m grooving to the funky Rockwilder beat and had a crazy idea. Wouldn’t a Xzibit album produced ENTIRELY by Rockwilder be off the hook? I doubt it’d ever happen cause artists today need to work with every “In” producer so nobody’s feelings get hurt, but an Xzibit/Rockwilder album would be TIGHT.
Lets take a look at their previous collaborations:
Front 2 Back – HEAT
What you Can’t See – HEAT
Release Date – TRASH
Where it Hurts – HOT TRASH
So they’re 2 for 4. Not really good odd’s, but I figured out where they went wrong. Both Release Date and Where it hurts are slow tempo tracks that don’t show off either artists strong points. The two fast, party type tracks are HEAT, so thats the direction they should take if this album ever happened.
After Xzibit finishes up X Files 2, and Rockwilder stops doing Christian Rap, they should hook up and do a whole album with those driving funky, space age beats. None of that slow bullshit, just an 12 tracks full of hard drinking, party music. THAT’S an album I’d buy. Listen to this track and tell me I’m wrong… Oh and Xzibit, if you didn’t get the memo, dissing Bush just pisses off your Republican fans.
