Bishop Lamont Chokes out J. Wells

So J. Wells and Bishop Lamont have been beefing for a while now. Word around the Internet is that the beef moved from online/wax to a physical confrontation at a club in Long Beach last Wednesday. The rumors circulating say that Bishop Lamont choked out J Wells. We’ve got an artist’s recreation of the event which you can see directly to your left.

As fun as it is to treat rap like the WWF, I can’t help but think how much great music we’re missing out on because of the beef. I like J Wells. I like Bishop Lamont. I’d probably like a Bishop/J Wells track too. It’s a shame we’ll probably never see another track due to this confrontation. I’m not placing the blame on any party, It’s just disappointing to me that two talented artists can’t put their personal issues aside.

I hope this event is the end of the beef. If the beef continues I hope it moves back to wax. Now that the genie is out of the bottle, I doubt it will. There’s only one way to settle this. Have Snoopy King set up and promote a fight.
