Bishop Lamont Talks about The Confessional Delay

Bishop Lamont has been killing it with the mixtapes. Ni**er Noise and Caltriot both had some heaters on them and they got a good amount of play from me. Bishop was supposed to release his upcoming mixtape The Confessional with DJ Whoo Kid last Sunday, but it got delayed to June 10th. I’ve included a video Bishop recorded at a local gym explaining the delay, talking a bit about Detox and sending a shout out jab to J Wells. I’m a bit disappointed he didn’t push The Confessional back to the Sunday the 8th or the Sunday the 15th to keep the religious theme intact. Oh well, I’m sure it will be hot nonetheless.

Out of all the tracks I heard from the upcoming mixtape, City Lights produced by DJ Khalil sounds the hottest and I’ve included it below for everybody to stream. This song has some very nice production values and I dig the rock/rap blend. 9 times out of 10 the rock/rap blends don’t work but this track is very well done.
