Game to Launch www.ThisIzGame.com. Swagger Jack?

The Game recently announced his new website will be located at www.ThisizGame.com. The name immediately brings to mind, 50 Cent’s successful web venture www.ThisIs50.com. Is Game planning to make a fully featured online community like 50 or is he just taking another jab with the name of his new site?

From the Press Release he put out, it looks like it’s just going to be a regular old artist website. The market is ripe for social networking and I think the Game as enough of a fan following to make a site like ThisIs50 work for him. If he does, there are some things The Game should keep in mind.

The reason Thisis50 is so successful is because it creates a link between the artist and his fans. 50 Cent (Or somebody posing as 50) puts up news, audio, and commentary multiple times a week. This gives fans a reason to come back and contribute as they think 50 is participating in the discussion and interacting with his fans.

This is 50 also has superb content. Music, video, news and commentary, the site works simply because there is always fresh content. If Game decided to make a social networking site, the cost would be substantial. He would need to hire a web team and full time blogger (Hint, hint).

The Game would also have to dedicate time and effort into creating content for the site to gather visitors. It wouldn’t be a small undertaking, but the potential is out there to make a large amount of money. As always, we’ll keep you updated. I’ve included the new single recently released track by The Game called Pain ft Keyshia Cole below. Be sure to bump it, it’s a hot track.
