Needs to Be on iTunes: Quiz - Vote For me (Feat. Glasses Malone)
There is so much good much coming out of the West Coast, that sometimes I miss artists. Quiz from Los Angeles is a perfect example. For one reason or another, I just never got around to checking out what dude had to offer. That was a big mistake because Quiz has heaters. This week’s episode of songs I’d like to purchase, but can’t goes to Quiz - Vote For Me featuring Glasses Malone.
Produced by Sega, this is a superb track. The beat samples a marching band and is extremely driving and motivating. It reminds me a bit of a stripped down west coast version of that Tear it Up track by Yung Wun from a few years back. It’s got the same type of energy, but with a West Coast vibe. The beat isn’t the only stand out thing about this this track. Quiz brings his “A” game with memorable lyrics and a catchy chorus. It’s also a memorable moment when Glasses drops his verse which is also very high quality. I’d purchase this track in a quick second if it was available on iTunes.
