Street Album Round Up for April
So Dubcnn has been absolutely KILLING it lately with a series of free and high quality street albums for download. It’s almost been too much great music coming out. I’ve got a roundup below in case you may have missed some of them. These are all Untagged tapes too, so it’s free, high quality music. In case you’ve missed it, we offered a free plan for artists to get the most exposure from their mixtapes which you can check out here.
Bangloose: Sonically Correct
We’re big fans of Bangloose over here at www.Lyay.net. He’s got some great party music accompanied by superb beats. Sonically Correct is put out by DJ Nik Bean and he did a wonderful job of putting this together. Unlike most streets ablums, Nik Bean doesn’t have ANY shout outs on the tracks. Instead he has a number of interludes between the tracks. It messes up the continuity a bit, but it’s very easy to download and burn your own version of the album without the interludes.

B.Y.I. & Rome Present: Welcome To Rome Compilation
This is another high quality release from the BYI camp. Rome has some superb beats and this compilation shows off his talents. Hosted by DJ Skee, like Sonically Correct, the album doesn’t have any shout outs to take away from the music and it makes the album much more powerful. Featuring raps from Omar Cruz, Rick Ross, Glasses Malone, and a host of others, this album is quality.

Hot Dollar - 100 Laws Of Power 2.0 (So So Def Edition)
I like Hot Dollars music. Sure this tape is aimed more at the ladies, but who cares? Good music is good music. This is another untagged tape put out by DJ Ill Will. There are several standout tracks on the ablum. Ball Hard featuring Jay Rock is far and away my favorit track on the album. It’s also good to get Liquor is Gone untagged. I see a very bright future for Hot Dollar, and with So So def behind him, I have a feeling he’s going to get the right push.
