Thisizgame.com To Go Live Tomorrow
According to AllHipHop, The Game is set to premier a new song tomorrow (4/30) on Thisizgame.com addressing the Sean Bell case.
It’ll be interesting not only to hear the track, but to see the direction Game is taking with the Thisizgame.com. I’m really rooting for Game to put out a viable competitor to 50’s successful social networking site. 50’s an established artist and he’s mostly promoting established artists on Thisis50. I think that the potential is there to push new artists using social networks and The Game could be a leader in this area of promotion. Like we talked about before it’s not easy to pull off, but if done correctly, the rewards would be huge.
Back to the track itself: Some people are talking about the Game is piggybacking off this tragedy to promote his own album/website. I disagree. It all depends on the quality of the song he puts out tomorrow. The Game is too smart to put out an inferior product with the hip hop worlds eyes focused squarely on him. It’s nice to see a rapper addressing social issues instead of talking about bling or new dances. I have a feeling that the track will be thought provoking and quality. Check back tomorrow for audio.
