Watch Producer Infra Red Make a Beat for Ya Boy

It’s no secret that I think Ya Boy is one of the best artists the West Coast has to offer. Part of his appeal is his ear for beats. Some of my favorite tracks Ya Boy has rapped over have been produced by up and comer Infra Red. Having a unique and big sounding style, Infra Red has produced for nearly ever major Bay Area artist from E-40 to Balance. Today we’ve got a behind the scenes video for everybody to check out. It’s Infra Red producing Ya Boy’s Precise Gang. Clocking in at just over an hour, it’s a long watch, but well worth it. You can skip through some of the silent parts and still learn a great deal. It’s interesting to see the creative process behind one of Ya Boy’s best tracks.
